Context
The primary objective of this project is to create an immersive and captivating popup experience tailored for BMW enthusiasts and potential customers. This experience will focus on showcasing three key elements: the cutting-edge iDrive 8 system, luxurious key fobs, and the latest BMW M Sport wheel designs. By providing interactive demonstrations and personalized product experiences, the goal is to engage visitors and deepen their understanding and appreciation for BMW's technological innovations and designs.

As an Experience Designer, I played a crucial role in envisioning and bringing to life an immersive and captivating experience tailored for BMW enthusiasts and potential customers. My main goal was to lead the team and oversee the design process, ensuring the creation of a visually striking and compelling environment that highlighted BMW's technological advancements and design excellence.
Ideation
This mood board captures the essence of BMW’s innovation, luxury, and performance. It showcases the brand’s iconic M colors—vivid blues, deep blacks, and striking reds—paired with metallic accents. Dynamic visuals of simulated driving and interactive touchpoints create a futuristic yet timeless vibe, highlighting BMW’s perfect fusion of cutting-edge technology and masterful craftsmanship.
Planning
The immersive popup encounter will take place at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles, situated specifically in the Atrium. This chosen spot proves ideal for showcasing the BMW experience, given its expansive open layout that allows visitors to views from both ground and balcony levels. Surrounded by high-end stores, this location perfectly complements the luxurious ambiance of the BMW experience.
We established three distinct zones, each dedicated to showcasing key elements: the iDrive 8 system, luxurious key fobs, and the latest M-Sport wheels. The iDrive 8 Simulation, Key Fob Display, and Wheel Showcase, are strategically designed to be interconnected yet distinct, ensuring a seamless flow while maintaining individuality across each zone.

Where Luxury Meets Personalization

The M Performance Wheel Studio
This zone features BMW's M Performance wheels. Guests are invited to explore the intricate details of each wheel, marveling at the precision craftsmanship that elevates both form and function.

This BMW popup experience immerses guests in the brand’s innovation, luxury, and performance. Highlighting the iDrive 8 system, customizable key fobs, and M Performance wheels, it offers interactive demos like simulated driving and hands-on exploration. Visitors will leave with a deeper appreciation for BMW’s blend of technology, craftsmanship, and personalization, celebrating its legacy while inspiring excitement for the future.
